My new life with Vivobase: My name is Peter Steinhilber and I am one of the founders and managing directors of za-internet GmbH in Hechingen.
My life with computers and everything that goes with them began when I was just 14 years old.
It was 1982 when I got my first computer, a C64 from Commodore, and it was immediately clear that I would never get away from this "addiction".
I passed school with flying colors and after my apprenticeship I worked for my father in his company for a few more years.
At the age of 28, however, I turned my hobby into a career and started my own business in the IT sector with Internet, networks and computers together with my business partner.
Business went well and we were extremely busy.
I worked from early in the morning until late at night and unfortunately didn't always get the sleep I needed.
But that's probably the way it is when you're self-employed and starting out with your company and want to build it up.
And I was always working with computers and WLAN or Bluetooth and everything that goes with it.
Over time, I started to feel the effects of this enormous workload in the form of severe migraine headaches, which usually became so severe in the early morning between 4 and 5 a.m. that I couldn't sleep any longer.
At first it was only 1-2 times a month and I didn't think much of it.
Then the morning migraine attacks increased 1-2 times a week and in the worst phase I had the most severe migraine headaches 4-5 days a week, which I could only treat with painkillers.
And the earlier I woke up from the pain, the greater the chance that the pain could still be controlled by the migraine tablets.
If I waited too long, I was practically unable to work that day, the pain was so bad that I felt nauseous and even vomited.
Anyone who knows migraines knows exactly what I'm talking about.
I feared the worst, a tumor in my head, and had myself checked by doctors from top to bottom.
But none of them could find a cause or explanation for the headaches.
All the examinations with X-rays, blood work and other tests were unsuccessful.
Physically everything seemed ok and yet I felt very bad.
They then suspected a bad posture or problems with the mattress when sleeping.
Again, everything was checked and the bed, table and chair were changed.
All to no avail, the pain remained.
I then had physiotherapy twice a week, but even that only helped to a limited extent.
I was massaged and adjusted, but that didn't last long either.
This left me with only the painkillers, which I had to steadily increase.
The lack of sleep and the medication were extremely damaging to the body and so my energy and my positive attitude to life dwindled more and more.
Sometimes I didn't know how I was going to put up with it any longer.
All just humbug - right?
Until that day when I was working on an order at Mr. Seipel's company and we briefly discussed my pallor. It was another short night with a migraine in the morning.
I briefly told him about my headache problems and he gave me a small, inconspicuous device.
An LED was flashing.
"Great" I thought.
All the doctors and medication couldn't help me, what could such a strange device with a flashing LED do?
I wasn't just skeptical, I was convinced that it was all just humbug.

I carried the device with me day and night - either in my pocket or on my bedside table.
I wanted to stay within the 1.5m radius.
The first week passed without any significant changes and I thought, yet another useless device that only works if you believe in it!
Nevertheless, something inside me told me that I should continue to use the device.
Humbug my ass!!! Then I noticed from the
2nd week that I only woke up 3-4 times with a migraine and only had to take 1 migraine tablet to "numb" the pain.
In the
3rd week the headache became even less and after about 6-8 weeks the morning headache was practically non-existent!
Yes, it even went so far that I got another headache in the 9th week and I thought that the device was no longer working.
Then I realized that I had forgotten to charge the battery due to carelessness and it was no longer working.
So I charged it straight away and the effect was unbelievable!
Since I didn't believe in the effect at all, because I even noticed without knowing when the device was no longer active, a so-called placebo effect can definitely be ruled out.
Of course, it didn't stop with just one device, I equipped our entire company, my home and also the houses and apartments of all my relatives and acquaintances, and even my work colleagues, with the device.
None of the other people had such massive problems as I did, but they all confirmed that they sleep much better and start the day more relaxed.

It's been a good 6 years now and unfortunately I have NOT kept a list of how many more nights I have been able to sleep, how many migraine tablets I have saved myself and my body and how much more performance and quality of life I have gained.
