FREQUENT QUESTIONS

What is electrosmog?

The word electrosmog describes artificially generated fields, i.e. they originate from technology and are therefore generated by us.
They change the natural radiation conditions and fields on earth.

How can I protect myself from electrosmog?

It is best to avoid as many sources of radiation as possible.
Switch off the WLAN router at night, use analog telephones (connected via cable) and additionally use VIVOBASE technology.

What studies are available on electrosmog and its effects?

The number of studies available on the subject of “electrosmog”, both pro and contra, is impressive.
A large number of scientific studies have come to the conclusion that electrosmog causes damage to the organism.
Particularly noteworthy are the results of studies on the opening of the blood-brain barrier, the formation of gliomas and acoustic neuromas.
A worrying level of knowledge has been reached (a good overview of study results can be found at www.emf-portal.de).

To what extent do the specified limit values (SAR-specific absorption rate) protect me?

In the case of low-frequency fields up to around 30 kHz, the acute biological effects are dominated by stimulation effects on sensory, nerve and muscle cells, which are caused by currents induced inside the body.
Thermal effects (SAR value) only play a subordinate role.
However, the current limit values are only intended to restrict the thermal effects.
There are currently no limit values for the effects on bioelectrical impulses in our body, such as brain or heart rates.
However, the World Health Organization (WHO) already classifies weak low-frequency magnetic fields as possibly carcinogenic.

Who should be particularly protected from electrosmog?

The topic of electrosmog should concern everyone.
Electromagnetic radiation has a demonstrable influence on every biological living being, whether human, animal or plant.
Influences are also caused by geographical conditions such as water veins.

How does building biology screening work?

Most shielding measures, such as canopies or special wall paints, are used to suppress low- and high-frequency radiation.
Reflections can cause these fields to be extremely amplified or the fields to be “unnaturally” shifted and increase exponentially at another location (bundling).
It is also particularly worrying that the natural frequencies necessary for the organism (e.g. Schumann resonance frequencies) and the earth’s magnetic field are also shielded, as the building biology shielding has no filter function.

How important is protection from electromagnetic radiation in the car?

In a car, you are in an environment that resembles a Faraday cage.
Due to the many sources of electromagnetic fields, such as Bluetooth for the hands-free system, WLAN, on-board controls, sensors and other sources of radiation, the electromagnetic radiation in the car is multiplied and reflected in the interior.
The exposure is therefore significantly higher while driving.
You can find more information on this topic at www.autobild.de | Magnetic field exposure – electrosmog in the car.

Does VIVOBASE technology also work with earth radiation?

Yes, because earth radiation, water veins, etc. have the same effect as artificially generated electromagnetic fields.

Is one VIVOBASE HOME enough for the whole house?

Yes, one VIVOBASE HOME is usually sufficient.
However, two devices may be required in cases of severe electrosensitivity.
Please contact us if you are unsure.

Does the protection provided by VIVOBASE HOME also penetrate walls and ceilings?

The VIVOBASE HOME has an effective radius of approx. 30 meters.
The protection also goes through walls and ceilings.

In which frequency range does the VIVOBASE technology work?

VIVOBASE technology works independently of the various (non-ionizing) frequency ranges.
Tests in the measurement laboratory with a frequency generator have shown that VIVOBASE can protect against frequencies up to 9 GHz.
For comparison: 5G currently oscillates in a range between 3 and 4 GHz.

We will inform you once a month about new developments on the subject of electromagnetic radiation, 5G and electrosmog.
